Thankyou to Dr Pardey, Nepean Hospital Midwives, Nepean Hospital NICU, the Doctors and Nurses at New Born Care Liverpool and Randwick, and Westmead Fertility Centre. Dr Pardey made our dream of having a baby ('s) come true even though at many times it didn't look like it would happen. We can't even begin to show him how grateful we are.

Amber & Ty Born 30/6/2005, 26 weeks gestation at Liverpool Hospital, then transferred to nepean hospital on the 16/8/2005, then to the Royal and Sydney childrens hospital on the 27/9/05 and 4/10/05, and back to nepean on the 4/10/05 and 20/10/05. Have finally settled in Winmalee in the Blue Mountains. Joshua born 26/6/07 at Nepean Hospital.

Who ever wrote that amber will get an identity crisis by being dressed like a boy, hasn't seen how cute she looks in her little denim Jacket with butterflies and flowers.

and, anyway, who's stupid idea was it that "blue is for boys"? Being a psychologist I happen to know that children build a much stronger and healthier sense of identity when they're given choice (in colours as well as other things). It'll be a while before she can verbally explain what she likes and what not, but it's good for her to learn from an early age that she DOESN'T HAVE to wear pink. So, hurray for little denim jacket :-) (apologies for my rant, I just get very annoyed with sexist stereotypes).
